Pricing for the Water Skills Training. The practical water skills schedule and prices for those services vary from location to location and region to region.  You should be well informed, in advance, of the price and schedule at your chosen location.  When considering the price, understand that in most cases, the chosen resort includes boat dives and other amenities that you would normally pay for even if already certified.  The schedules for completing the water skills will also vary from location to location.  Some will complete these activities in only two days; others may take longer.  It is important to understand the price and schedule prior to travel to your location.  We want your training vacation do be fun; we don't want you to have any surprises.  If we can assist you in understanding any information sent to you by your chosen resort, please give us a call.

What to Expect When You Arrive at Your Destination .  Upon arrival at your resort location, you should immediately make contact with the chosen PADI IRRC training facility.  Every center does the water skills training a little different, but typically you can expect one to two mornings of swimming pool training, with afternoons of real open-water diving.  You will complete the necessary pool training and four open water scuba dives.  You will then be a PADI certified Open Water Scuba Diver for life!  Don't confuse this with the quickie "resort courses" that give you little training and no permanent certification.  You will be a fully certified PADI scuba diver for life when you use the Sea Level Scuba Online Learn to Dive Anywhere in the World program, in combination with the PADI IRRC resort member at  your destination. Doing Your Water Skills Training at a Resort Destination is More Like Fun Than Instruction!  We think all scuba classes are fun, even those offered in our indoor swimming pools and local rock quarries.  However, we must work hard to match the fun of doing the water skills work at an exotic destination.  When you complete your training at a destination, they have the benefit of having both the swimming pool and the ocean right on the premises.  This allows them to conduct pool skills development and open water checkout dives on the same day!  This allows a schedule for you that is much more like vacation diving than training programs offered inland.  Typically, a resort location will do pool skills training in the morning, with open water dives in the afternoon.  Using the convenience of this type of schedule, you complete your water skills training in only two or three days.  Don't worry about the short time period of your training; PADI diving classes are skills-acquired classes, so you will not be certified until you learn all of the skills mandated by PADI.  Just have fun and come back home a certified scuba diver for life!
